Lots of patterns happening here, let’s make some warm changes. This client wants to purchase hardwood floors but that’s phase 2 so here’s what I did in the meantime.

After
Same couch, new cover. I rearranged the couch and it opened up the space beautifully.

Some new shelving and plants lifted this room significantly.

This room was over loaded with tables, odds & ends, un-balanced pictures and too many different color themes. The client wanted to create a space that felt warm and inviting. So we simplified with in their budget.

After
We painted the room to warm it up and give it a lift. We re- arranged and used furniture, pillows and blankets they already had in their home from other rooms to make this area cohesive, but then balanced the walls with newer purchases to create a focal point with art work and wood and metal shelving.

I mainly used things this airbnb owner already had in their lodge. Sometimes all it takes to give a room a lift is to go into other rooms of your home to help things come to life.
